Plagiarism is unethical-- when a writer uses information from certain articles of books without citing them is considered stealing. the ideas that does not belong to the writer meaning stealing the information is considered unethical (379).
Plagiarism means a lost learning opportunity-- if one writer just plagiarize, then the whole purpose of research is pointless. researching is one tool that can help writers learn from different authors who are knowledgeable than them thereby expanding the knowledge of the writer (379).

Plagiarism may result in serious penalties-- when students or any writer that are caught plagiarizing can result to penalties like getting no credit for students and worst case scenario, students can be expelled from school because of plagiarism. for writers who are not in school, they can face lawsuits when caught plagiarizing (379).
