Avoiding Plagerism Devon Bennett

Thre are four important things when understaning how to avoid plagerism.  Thr first is its unethical.  When you take ideas that someone else has came up with you are stealing.  There is no excuse for this.  The second is you lose a learing opportunity.  When a teacher assigns a research project they are doing it to help you learn and when you plagerise you are not learing.  The third thing is it diminishes your credibility.  When you dont allow other people to know that you are using someone elses research you are not establishing good credibility.  It is good to use other peoples information but to not give them credit is not right.  THe last thing is it may result in serious penalty.  At colleges you can get a variety of consequences including expulsion.  in life when you dont give credit to the writer or producer you can have criminal charges bestowed upon you as well.
