Avoiding Plagiarism Alex MIller

Four reasons a person should nat plagarise are...
  • Plagiarism is unethical
    • When you use another persons work and dont acknowledge it, it is considered stealing
  • Plagiarism means lost learning opportunity
    • If a person plagiarises they lose the opperortunity to learn about the topic and sharpen their research skills
  • Plagirarism diminishes your credibility
    • Arguments are more compelling when the information is cited and mixed with our own knowledge
  • Plagirarism may result in serious penalties
    • Plafirarism is a violation of academic honesty, it will negativily affect your career and repuation. may also have legal consequences
