I want to be a successful forensic accountant. That is my dream. I want to catch bad guys through their financial reports. I know that sounds really boring for some but I really love the idea of analyzing financial reports.
My other dream is to travel and see the world. The United States is the first foreign country that I've set foot on. Though I've lived in the Philippines for 20 years, I have never seen the whole country. So if given the chance, I would go back there and check out the places that I've never been to. I also want to see Paris, Italy, Africa, Switzerland, and many more.
I used to drive a motorcycle back home. The photo of the motorcycle that I attached here, is what I drive. I know, it is different compared to the motorcycles most people here in the US see. I used to own one of this, I love driving it because it calms me whenever I am angry or sad. And if I am having trouble about something, when I'm driving this, it helps me think of solutions to that problem.
For the 11 months that I am here, I have experienced all 4 seasons. When we arrived here, it was still winter, although we were not fortunate enough to see snow at that time. Spring was nice. We were able to see the Forest Park in St. Louis because it was not that cold. Summer was unforgettable. Back home, during summer, the highest temperature there would be 90 degrees Fahrenheit . Here, I've experienced over 100 degrees! Fall was simply beautiful. The leaves of the trees changed and fell. It was a memorable experience. and then again, I've experienced winter. But now, I've seen snow! It was a beautiful sight to see! Snow falling from the sky was simply beautiful.
And now, I am looking forward to more first time experiences. And I am also looking forward to a fun spring semester.

Traveling should be on everyone's to do list.
I love your career goals! That is the most unique i have heard. Although I absolutely hate numbers, that does sound interesting!! Good luck to you!
So you have been here 11 months...what is the biggest or most shocking difference you have seen here??
I hope you are enjoying the U.S. :)

Fall is definetly my favorite season here. It's beyond beautiful, and trust me you may like the snow now but it can get annoying after awhile.
One of my best friends since like the fifth grade is from the Philippines!!
I agree. It's really fun to travel. xD
There are a lot that I could say about the difference between here and there. I haven't discovered the most shocking one, but there's a big difference with regards to college students here. They work and go to school. Unlike back home, most college students don't work to pay for their schooling.
Really? That's nice! :D
That's what most of my aunts told me. But for now, i'm enjoying it since we don't get to experience snow back home. xD
It's nice to have you here- One of my best friends was Filipino, and she was such fun to have around! I would also love to travel around the world, I would like to go to every continent at some point in my life.
Your career sounds amazing! I plan on going to a four year college for criminal justice. I would like to do the job my aunt does which is looking at areas of crime across a city and finding patterns to catch the bad guys!
Sara, really? Was she also born in the Philippines?
Caitlin, that sounds interesting too! We both have something in common. Catch criminals. xD
Hey that's cool you want to catch criminals through forensic accounting, I want to do the same thing except through forensic psychology. So we both have something in common.
That's nice Jordan. Have you decided on what university you'll take forensic psychology?
