About Me

Hello classmates! My name is Zach Eaton. I grew up in the small town of Miller about 45 miles west of OTC. I grew up and graduated with about 40 of the 46 kids in my class. I've been playing sports since I was four years old. Over the years, I have played for two different AAU basketball teams (Missouri Titans and Southwest Hawks), two different traveling baseball teams (Mt. Vernon Longhorns and Miller Titans), and football in my hometown. I have traveled all across the United States competing in basketball tournaments against the likes of current NBA players of Austin Rivers, Kyrie Irving, Avery Bradley, Kawhi Leonard, Derrick Favors, Paul George, Demarcus Cousins, and a few others, while playing with Missouri State player Christian Kirk and many others. Since fourteen years of my life revolved around sports, it only fits that I plan on becoming either a Physical Therapist or a Coach. I started my college career at the University of Missouri, where I rarely went to class and partied much more often. That is the reason I moved back home and attend OTC today. This is my second semester here at OTC, currently pursuing an Associates of Science in Biology. I currently work at Texas Roadhouse as a waiter. But, during the summer, I move down to Destin, Florida and work for the family business. I have three wonderful siblings, a 22 year old brother, a seven year old sister, and a three year old brother. You could say that my life now revolves around the two little ones. Watching them grow up and being there for them whenever they need is something I cherish deeply. As you can tell, my family comes before anything, except for faith. Now that you know a little bit about me, I'm excited to get to know you all as the semester progresses.

Jeez, talk about a busy person! It seems like you have had a lot of great experiences through sports. I envy all of the chances to travel.
Good luck with your studies, and take care!
