Taylor Grass's Intro

Hello, my name is James Taylor Grass and if you're wondering, I was not named after the artist James Taylor so don't ask. I actually prefer to go by Taylor so if you look me up on Facebook it'll be Taylor Grass. I'm 19 years old and I'm in my second semester at OTC. I was born right here in Springfield and I have lived in this area my whole life but I love to travel. In my spare time I like playing music. I play the guitar, drums, and piano but I spend most of my time on the guitar. I'm also big on fitness. I spend a lot of time in the gym or on the track. I love swimming too and not just the floating around in a pool kind of "swimming" but actual swimming. I'm kind of a country kid as well. I wasn't raised on a farm but I like camping, shooting guns, hunting, river gigging, things like that. Lately though, most of my time has been spent with family and trying to get over being sick. My future plans include finishing this year at OTC and transferring to MSU or MU on Marine Corps Officer money to finish my bachelors so I can get an officer's commission in the Marines. Eventually, I want to go into Marine Recon, which is a Marine Special Operations community, but I might decide to do a minimum, use my degree and settle down. I hope to meet some new people in this class and wish the best to all of you.

Jaymie Bush ... Intro

Hello there I am a single mother of three beautiful children, I have an awesome eleven year old son Jevin, my only princess is Jaylynn who is ten, and my little prince Jayvien who is approaching his terrible twos in April . I have attended OTC since spring 2010, however I took a little break to focus on my new baby and just returned this semester. My hobbies include cooking, shopping, traveling, and spending time with my family. My oldest son is very active in sports, he plays basketball year round with the Springfield Tarheels and has for 6 years, they travel out of springfield often for tournaments and take the game very seriously!! I enjoy being his number one fan and look forward to seeing where his talent of the sport takes him as he gets older. I am the oldest of three, I have one brother and one sister and I have one four year old nephew who calls me "Mie mie". I am also "Mie mie" to my two best friends' children so to me, I have three nephews and two neices who I enjoy spending time with and are very special to me. I am currently focusing on finishing my general education requirements and plan on transferring to MSU to work on my bachelors in Physical therapy or sports medicane I haven't yet decided. I look forward to this class and learning more about my classmates as the semester moves forward.

About Me

Hello classmates! My name is Zach Eaton. I grew up in the small town of Miller about 45 miles west of OTC. I grew up and graduated with about 40 of the 46 kids in my class. I've been playing sports since I was four years old. Over the years, I have played for two different AAU basketball teams (Missouri Titans and Southwest Hawks), two different traveling baseball teams (Mt. Vernon Longhorns and Miller Titans), and football in my hometown. I have traveled all across the United States competing in basketball tournaments against the likes of current NBA players of Austin Rivers, Kyrie Irving, Avery Bradley, Kawhi Leonard, Derrick Favors, Paul George, Demarcus Cousins, and a few others, while playing with Missouri State player Christian Kirk and many others. Since fourteen years of my life revolved around sports, it only fits that I plan on becoming either a Physical Therapist or a Coach. I started my college career at the University of Missouri, where I rarely went to class and partied much more often. That is the reason I moved back home and attend OTC today. This is my second semester here at OTC, currently pursuing an Associates of Science in Biology. I currently work at Texas Roadhouse as a waiter. But, during the summer, I move down to Destin, Florida and work for the family business. I have three wonderful siblings, a 22 year old brother, a seven year old sister, and a three year old brother. You could say that my life now revolves around the two little ones. Watching them grow up and being there for them whenever they need is something I cherish deeply. As you can tell, my family comes before anything, except for faith. Now that you know a little bit about me, I'm excited to get to know you all as the semester progresses.

Salutations!

I guess that, because Courtney Stewart has already posted about me, I have to follow in her footsteps.  Also, I've been at work, so I'm rushing this first post.  Shame on me.
Courtney, my twin sister, is a wonderful individual.  Over the years (about four, I would say), we have grown apart.  I have not decided if that's a good thing or not, but it is not something that I regret.  Without her, I would not be here today.  We've lived through stupid decisions, but we help one another.  I will always be here for you, Mouse. I love you.

On a more independent note, I have not decided what I will do with my life.  I'm trying to convince myself to stay in school, because I know that it is the right decision, but jeez, so many years of schooling up ahead!  In a perfect world, I will become a nurse, and find a wonderful person to take to London with me, but, the world is not a perfect place.  So, until then, I will definitely finish my two years at OTC.  However, I have no idea what I will focus on.  My attention seems to gravitate towards moving out of Missouri.

I enjoy reading and writing.  I thought that I had given both pleasures up once I hit my sophomore year in high school.  Why?  Because I hated almost everything about that place.  Apparently, if you're a reader, or writer, you're destined to be an outcast.  The students made me feel that way, but I disregarded their comments, and decided to talk to my English teacher that following year.  Mrs. Willis.  She changed my life.  She encouraged me to follow my dreams and passions.  I still think of her each time I put a pencil/pen to paper as I'm pondering the next line in my poem.  Or when I read the books she gave me.  I will be forever thankful of her.

About Me

My name is Alex Miller. I was born and raised in Joplin Mo, where I spent the majority of my childhood years on a farm with my grandparents. I moved to Springfield when I was twelve and have lived here ever since. I still love to go back down and visit my grandparents and all my animals on the weekend of I get the chance. This is my second semester at OTC and I am enjoying it so far. When I'm not working, I like so spend my time riding my horse Babe or playing with my dogs Dillon(the good one) and Payton (the brat). I am an only child and have a small family so my animals are my siblings. In graduated from Willard, and was very involved in the NJROTC program there. I got to be third in command and was very fortunate to be part of the team that made it to Nationals for the first time. In high school I was set on joining the military but as I got older and learned that the real military wasn't all fun and games like ROTC was I decided it wasn't for me. For right now my career choice is eventually becoming a first responder or a ER doctor. I'm sure that my mind will change later.

All About Me

Hey! My name is Kaitlyn Wallace! I was born in Michigan and spent my childhood there with my extended family. Seven years ago my family made the decision to move to Missouri. I absolutely love it here and can't imagine what my life would be like if we hadn't moved. We still go back to Michigan every summer for a week and rent a cabin on the lake front to visit with our friends and family. I'm a fairly quiet person until you get to know me then it's a challenge to get me to be quiet. I have a younger brother who is my best friend and partner in crime. I recently adopted a blue heeler puppy named Tucker that keeps me on my toes at all times. I played soccer all throughout high school, and during our off season managed the boys’ soccer team. I bake and decorate cakes as a side job and would love to open up my own bakery someday.  I am going to school to be an elementary teacher. During high school I was given the chance to help teach a preschool and first grade class and loved every second of it, I think the kids had a bigger impact on me than I had on them. They remind you to enjoy the little things in life and make you look at life in a completely different way. I love fishing, lazy days and spending time with my friends and family.

Alyssa Vandiver-Intro

My name is Alyssa Vandiver. I was born and raised in Boonville, MO. I moved to the Lake of the Ozarks at age nine and have lived there since. I attended Camdenton High School. I played volleyball and soccer in high school. I graduated in 2012 with a class of 306. I work two jobs currently. I just recently got a new job serving at a restaurant in Springfield and I’m also a server at a Mexican restaurant called Mexicali Blues back at the lake. I moved to Springfield in the beginning of August. I like Springfield because there's always something to do, but I'd way rather be in a small town. When I'm not working or going to school I like to spend time with my friends and family. I have a younger brother who I'm pretty close with. I also have a chocolate lab who's my baby. I spend a lot of time with my brother and his friends just goofing off around town. Camdenton is a pretty small town with nothing to do but hangout in the Walmart parking lot but we always end up finding something fun to do anyway. During spring, summer and fall I love riding horses. I go trail riding as often as I can. I like to be outside and love to go floating and boating. I also spend a lot of time on our family farm in Houston, MO. In the future I would love to become a registered nurse and work in obstetrics, but now I'm kind of thinking about going to in criminal justice or becoming a special education teacher.

Hey, Hi, Hello!

Brittney (left) and myself (right)
Hello, my friends. My name is Courtney Stewart. Sitting next to me in class is my twin sister, Brittney Stewart. She's almost as good looking as me, I know that much, so comment about something else of course (Laugh with me because the humor is she's actually better looking). As alike as we were when we were growing up, it seems to me that we are growing further apart with age and passion. Though I do enjoy having someone close to me, I have enjoyed getting to experience the rough life of growing apart from someone you have cared about for many years. By being able to move forward and push through the tears and sadness, it has showed me that I will be able to do anything, even if I must go through that again later in life. Many people worry about being broken by a relationship; whether that be a friendship, a lover, or even parental bond. Though I would be just as broken as others would be by getting their heart torn by news of a saddened fact of life, I at least have some insight that I will be able to push forward. I am my own person and I need to do what is best for my own life.

My beautiful girlfriend on the right :)
Speaking of what's best for my own life: What is the best for it? Well, I think a few things I have been doing have been working pretty well for myself. I travel a little over 250 miles on as many weekends that I can in order to visit my wonderful girlfriend, Kylie. Though the town she lives in is extremely small and very religious/traditional (which prevents us from being too public, though I would be more public if it was my choice) we enjoy going out and exploring life together. When I am not with her and away from Springfield, I am found in my apartment where I am trying to pass the time as quickly as possible. I am waiting for my lease to end so that I can finally leave a not-so-good environment and move on to the beginning of a better life.

Caitlin Jewell's Introduction

Hello everyone! I'm Caitlin Jewell. I graduated from Willard High School at semester last month. Deciding on coming to OTC was so I could get some of my general education classes out of the way and I plan on attending College of the Ozarks in the fall of 2013. Though I am not sure what I want to do as a career, criminal justice has entered its way into my mind and I might try to pursue that field. My whole life I grew up right on the edge of Springfield but I just recently moved to Fair Grove where we built a new home. My family isn't huge by any means. I have an older brother, Tyler, who is almost 26 and lives in Nashville pursuing his dream of playing guitar in the music business. Also, I have an older sister, Megan, who is 24 and got herself a job teaching and coaching middle school basketball at Republic. Without my family I don't know what I would do, I love them more than anything. I pride myself in the fact I am a fourth Japanese and I would love to travel there someday. Just a few things to know me by are that I love eating, food is a big part of my family. I also enjoy working out, hunting/ fishing,  playing basketball, watching sports, shopping, and plain hanging out at home. Church is another big part of my life. I love God and know that He has a plan for me and will help me get through any tough times I may come across. I can't wait for what college has to offer me and getting to meet the new people I will encounter everyday. See you all soon :)

Landon Rice

Whats up, I'm Landon. I moved here over the summer from Kirksville.  It's about 250 away in northeast Missouri.  I really enjoy playing sports and being active.  My favorite sport is basketball, by far.  I used to ball it up in high school.  I played played basketball and football.  My favorite tv show is Workaholics, so you know I'm a chill dude.

ReBecca Burnett - Intro

Hello everyone! My name is ReBecca Burnett. Most call me Becca though, it's easier. This is my 4th semester here at good ol' OTC. I graduated from Ozark High School in 2011. While in high school I took a few dual credits. But I'm not very much of a school person, I only go because its kind of needed these days. I am still slightly undecided on what I want to do as a career when I grow up, but as of right now its looking like something within the criminology field. People always laugh at me when I tell them I would like to work in a prison...still haven't figured out why, probably because I'm not very intimidating and I smile all the time. But we will see!
I have lived in Springfield/Ozark my entire life. I have a very confusing family, but to shorten it I have two sisters and an older brother. My sisters are 23 and 14 and they are truly my best friends.
I would like to say that I've traveled the world like I've seen some of you have, but unfortunately I've barely been out of Missouri. One day I will travel around though and I can't wait! At the same time though, I do love Springfield...it truly is home for me.  I love to watch movies. My favorite movie is Finding Nemo. I know, I know but its true. I have an obsession with Netflix. I'm one of those that likes to watch entire seasons of tv shows in a week. Some of my favorite tv shows are Lie to Me, Walking Dead and How It's Made. I'm not much of a reader there are only a few books that I've read voluntarily and those would be The Hunger Games series and a few Nicholas Sparks books. I love to bake and try new recipes. I love to go to the lake in the summers. And I have three tattoos. Anyways, I think I've given enough information for you to work off of. See you all in class!

Introducing Myself

Hey, everyone! My name is Sarah Wilkinson and I am from Bolivar, Missouri. For those of you who do not know where that is at, it's just about 30 minutes North of Springfield. I graduated from Bolivar High School in 2012 and this is my second semester here at OTC. I am not 100% decided on what I am going to school for, it's still a toss-up between Nursing and Social Work. Hopefully I can make my decision soon!
While attending high school, I danced on the Elektra Blue Dance Team at the school for four years. Dancing is my favorite thing to do. My Junior and Senior years, I was lieutenant of the team. My senior year, we took first place in pom and second in kick at the MSU Sugar Bears Dance Competition. I was very pleased with my team. Besides dancing, I also enjoyshopping, watching movies, going out with my friends, and spending time at my job. I'm currently a CNA at a Residential Care Facility in Bolivar and I enjoy my job very much. I am also a member of Rondo Southern Baptist Church and proud to say so! I believe that each owe many thanks to the Lord for our wonderful lives.
One of the most important things to me in life is my family- I love them very much! My family consists of my two brothers, two sisters, dad, step-mom, my dog, and myself. Pictured above, from left to right, are myself, my older sister Brena, my youngest brother Johnathon, my younger brother Ryan, and my younger sister Kaylea. Along with my family, my friends are also very important to me. I'm excited to start this semester and meet new people!

Jordan Wiertzema - Intro

I'm Jordan and my last name is Wiertzema which I know is weird, uncommon and somewhat hard to pronounce. It's different though and I like it. Who wants to be normal anyways? This will be my first semester at OTC and I feel prepared for anything that I'm going to have to deal with. I wasn't planning on the whole college experience for awhile though because I had joined the Marine Corps, and during the summer I was in San Diego, CA at MCRD for Marine Recruit Training. Unfortunately after a few weeks I was discharged for a medical reason so here I am. I was going in as an Intelligence Analyst and I still plan on pursuing possibly some type of career in intelligence, though I'm considering making my major psychology. And so you know, me and my close group of friends that I have are very good with computers so if you need help at all or want to know something I would be more than happy to try and do something for you if you talk to me. Also a few other things I'm involved in are Freemasonry and the martial art of Aikido. Again if you're interested at all I'm ready to talk, make a new friend. I just try to keep myself busy and am constantly meeting new people. I run in some of my spare time to stay in shape and I use it as practice to run 5K and 10K races. That's just kind of the tip of the iceberg, but that's me at a glance.

Hello :)

My name is Jamie Beelow, I am from Chicago, IL, and I am majoring in Elementary Education with an emphasis in History. I have one brother who is in his first year of college, and a 9 year old sister who truely is my best friend. She's the greatest little punk that has ever come into my life. Many people say that she's my mini me, we look, and act, exactly the same. I have a psycho german shepherd who makes life... interesting. She's incredibly smart, and I'm pretty sure if I ever wrote a book about her it would be a best seller. She's the german shepherd version of Marley. Last year I attended Missouri State University, after a year there I realized college is really expensive... really really expensive. I went home for a semester and attended a community college by my house. After a semester at home, I was able to transfer to a Panera Bread here in Springfield, and I decided then that I was ready to move back to good ol' Springfield. I live with some of the greatest roomates in the world. They mean the world to me and are always there when I need a shoulder to lean on. Since I am from Chicago, I am a HUGE Cubs fan. I know what you're thinking, the Cubs suck. I'll be the first to admit, yeah they aren't the best team in the MLB, however they are my loveable losers and I will never turn my back on them. Football is a huge part of my life, I grew up a daddy's girl and was molded into the Steelers #1 fan. Softball has always been a huge part of my life, actually it took over my life. I'm very athletic and I love to work out and be active. I'm lactose intolerant and it sucks! I use to love eating ice cream, and that love was crushed this past year when I found out I was allergic to it. I'm a huge nerd, and I love reading and going to school. I also have this weird obsession with Batman, I think he's the greatest superhero ever! I have this dork of a boyfriend who is the goofiest person I have ever met. We've been dating for almost a year and I am so greatful for him. That's basically it, I look forward to this semester and can't wait to get to know all of you.

hello

Hello my name is Rachel. This is my second semester at OTC. I am pursuing a job as a Dental Hygienist. I am the third child of four, I have a twin brother, Robert, that is younger then me, 28 minutes but non the less younger who is attending the University of Missouri Kansas City. My older sister Stephanie is 27 and four years ago she had a son named Dominic making me an aunt for the first time in which I love. My older brother Phillip graduated from MSU last year with some kind of degree in film. I have many things that I enjoy in life, I really love sports watching and playing but most of the time when I watch I wish I was playing. I grew up playing basketball and played through out high school, I have traveled all around the United States playing in tournaments. I have grown to love watching football as my boyfriend is playing football at Missouri Western State University in St. Joe Missouri. I spend most of my time with my boyfriend Donovan, I travel to St. Joe most every weekend to spend time with him. Other things I enjoy are movies, the lake and traveling. The lake is like my get away place, when I have to much on my mind I love to go to the lake, ride and splash around on the Wave Runners or get all my energy out on the tubes. I like to think of my self and the most amazing tuber on the lake though I probably am not, I only have one problem with the lake that is that I am afraid of fish. Most people laugh when I say that but I really am, I always make some one jump in the water before me so they can "scare away the fish".  As a child I was very fortunate in getting to travel around the world. I love to travel and see all the amazing things this world has to offer and I would love to be able to travel the world with my own family some day.

Emily-Intro

My name is Emily. This is my second year at OTC. I took a break for a while, but decided to get enrolled again and finish my degree. I have a fairly big family, but it's mostly because of the grandchildren. I have an older sister and an older brother. I have a daughter that is 3 and will be 4 soon. Altogether there are 6 grandchildren in the family. I love life and enjoy everything that I do. I have learned for my mistakes and try my best to make my life better for me and my daughter. I am in the Early Childhood Development program and enjoy it. I want to eventually go into teaching after I have my ECD degree. I want to teach Kindergarden. I have learned a lot from having my daughter and can't wait to begin my future and pursue my dream. I am from a small town that has less than 5,000 people. I have lived there since i was about 4. I don't like small towns but it's home. I look forward to beginning this class and my other ones here at OTC.

Dot Thornton

Hi, my name is Dorothy Thornton. I go by Dot. I figure I will go by my real name when I am older! I work full time as a manager at Panera Bread. I have been there for almost six years. My job is very enjoyable, sometimes challenging , but always rewarding. Panera offers great benefits that has made it possible for me to raise my daughter on my own.
Speaking of my daughter...

.her name is Riley Boo. She just turned 4 on New Year's Eve. She is nothing short of an awesome, smart, SUPER SILLY, and beautiful little person. When she was born I was scared to death. How the hell am I going to raise a kid on my own??? Little did I know that I was about to embark on an exciting and full of love adventure. She has shown me more about who I am and the strength I have then I ever thought possible. I would go through a thousand more sleepless nights and exhausting work days just to spend one moment with that sweet girl of mine.
I have three sisters and one brother. My family is the exact opposite of perfect. I think that is why I love us...because we are real!
I also have found an amazing boyfriend. He has been so wonderful to me and to Riley. We appreciate and love him so much, it has been hard letting him help out. But we are all three learning!! Things are good!
I am a fun person who sometimes gets overwhelmed with life! That is because there are so many things to do, enjoy, and accomplish. But I have learned that its important to sometimes just chill.

-Dot

Me, Myself, and I

I am Catherine Megan Buscato. I would prefer people calling me Megan. I am a pure blooded Filipino. I was born in the Philippines and my family migrated in the United States from the Philippines 11 months ago. We are finally reunited with our other relatives after 19 years.

I want to be a successful forensic accountant. That is my dream. I want to catch bad guys through their financial reports. I know that sounds really boring for some but I really love the idea of analyzing financial reports.

My other dream is to travel and see the world. The United States is the first foreign country that I've set foot on. Though I've lived in the Philippines for 20 years, I have never seen the whole country. So if given the chance, I would go back there and check out the places that I've never been to. I also want to see Paris, Italy, Africa, Switzerland, and many more.

I used to drive a motorcycle back home. The photo of the motorcycle that I attached here, is what I drive. I know, it is different compared to the motorcycles most people here in the US see. I used to own one of this, I love driving it because it calms me whenever I am angry or sad. And if I am having trouble about something, when I'm driving this, it helps me think of solutions to that problem.

For the 11 months that I am here, I have experienced all 4 seasons. When we arrived here, it was still winter, although we were not fortunate enough to see snow at that time. Spring was nice. We were able to see the Forest Park in St. Louis because it was not that cold. Summer was unforgettable. Back home, during summer, the highest temperature there would be 90 degrees Fahrenheit . Here, I've experienced over 100 degrees! Fall was simply beautiful. The leaves of the trees changed and fell. It was a memorable experience. and then again, I've experienced winter. But now, I've seen snow! It was a beautiful sight to see! Snow falling from the sky was simply beautiful.

And now, I am looking forward to more first time experiences. And I am also looking forward to a fun spring semester.

Devon Bennett

This is my second full semester at OTC.  I graducated last year from Purdy High School, which is about 60 miles southwest from here.  Where I am from there is about two things that everyone participates in church, and sports.  I played four years of varsity basketball and baseball starting almost all four years.  I currently working at my families insurance agency.  We own and operate a regional marketing office in the life, health, and senior markets.  We represent about 500 agents and travel over eight states to see these agents.  I myself along with my grandpa am in charge of marketing, going a checking on these agents once or twice a year.
I love to travel.  I have been to four continents, North America, Europe, Africa, and Europe.  My favorite place I have been was Egypt.  In Egypt we spent seven days floating the Nile River and touring all of the famous pyramids.
If I could do one thing I would spend my whole life traveling around and seeing the world.  The world is a awesome place and seeing how different people interact with others is something I really love to see.

Info Overload-enjoy!

This is my second full semester at OTC. I did some duel credit classes in high school just to get math out of the way, because frankly, math is the worst thing ever for me. Now that I have College Algebra out of my life I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Other weights have been put on, but I don't mind them as much. I'm a fitness fanatic. I've been doing CrossFit for almost a year now, and I can't think about much else. Eventually I would like to get a degree in Exercise Science. I'm interested in physical therapy, but I don't want to have to go to school for seven years. I want to get in and get out as fast as possible. Like everyone, I'm sure. If I didn't do physical therapy my dream job would be a strength and conditioning coach at a D-1 University. While I love working out, I also love baking and cooking. It's a close second to exercising. Sweets are my favorite. I'm a movie goer as well. I want to try and see every British movie ever made by the time I die. I love British humor, and my friend and I simply can't get enough of it. I'm extremely passionate about the music I listen to. I really enjoy indie and oldies music. Favorite bands include: Coldplay, U2, The Temper Trap, Of Monsters and Men, Matt Anderson, The Head and The Heart, Foster The People, Wolf Gang, The Killers, Mumford and Sons, Bob Seger, Bruce Springsteen, Phil Collins, Noah and The Whale and Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros. I attend on doing lots of traveling this summer, one place being the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN.

Zac Morris

This is my second semester at otc. I graduated from Rogersville High school. It's a small town where nothing ever happens. I moved to springfield with a friend over break. I just got a job up at the Bistro Market, and I'm looking forward to it. I prefer to spend my time skateboarding, but unfortunatly an "education" is kind of important, so I'm here.

Cheyenne Long--Introduction

My name is Cheyenne Long; I am a second semester student here at OTC. I plan to get my associates through OTC then transfer to MSU.  I graduated in 2012 from Ash Grove, Missouri. I grew up in a small town and love nature. Agricultural education is my dream career. Although it’s my dream, I am not sure I could handle all the junior high and high school students. I was enjoying my time off. I work forty hours a week, go to OTC, and am enrolled in cosmetology school. I do not want to be a cosmetologist, I am a very imaginative person and I love art. Cosmetology just isn’t my calling. I am just beyond excited to hopefully become an amazing agriculture teacher. I hope to be just as great as the one I had in high school. I live in Lawrenceburg. I am so scatter brained today that it’s kind of funny. Last semester I told myself no classes before 8 but what happened? The only humanities class that was open on Tuesday and Thursday was 7 am. My heart hit my feet when I saw that. But at least it’s the exact same schedule as last semester just with different classes. I hope this semester goes by smoothly; I am excited to see what it brings to me. I grew up in a small town and on a farm. My parents own 80 acres and I live in the rent house that we own. I need to find a roommate because bills are getting hard to pay. That is the typical story of a college student though. I am a person that loves to be outside, nature is amazing. The feeling you have when you are sitting in a tree stand and nature is at its best is remarkable.

Welcome to the Blogoshere!

Welcome students! I hope you have had a nice holiday season and are raring to go. For you first assignment, I want each of you to post a 200-300 introduction about yourself to this blog. Please include at least one picture that corresponds with the introduction. Then, I want you to read and respond to 7 other posts. Please do not respond to posts that already have seven responses. This will ensure that everyone gets responses to their post. This assignment is worth 25 points and is due Thursday January 17th.

About Me
I am a native Kansan although I have been in Missouri since 1990. I come from a large family where I have nine brothers and sisters. I am married and now enjoying my life long dream to be a teacher. I went to college after my two children were grown and the financial burden of raising a family eased. I enjoy learning new and interesting things. I was self employed in several businesses before deciding to get an education. I received a Bachelors of Science degree from Missouri Southern in Joplin. In 2009 I completed my master's degree through Missouri State. I wrote my master's thesis on using technology in the classroom to increase student motivation and performance. For four years I taught English to juniors and seniors in a small rural school. This semester marks my third year here at OTC.
I love life and many times wish there were more hours in a day. I have many interests. I enjoy gardening, swimming, hunting, reading, watching movies, South Park, old rock 'n roll, traveling, learning new things, and many others. One of the greatest joys of my life has been the births of my granddaughters Kelea and Sheridan.
